Thank you to all who submitted to our Winter 2021 submissions call. The submissions window has now closed and all submissions have been responded to. If you haven’t received an email from us please do get in touch.
We look forward to sharing these wintry pieces starting from Monday 13th December.
After the busy month that was October, November saw Whispers and Echoes return to its more leisurely posting schedule.
During November we shared some wonderful poetry and flash fiction. Some pieces were for our annual Extended Editions call, where restrictions on poem length and flash fiction word counts are more generous. Others were pieces received in response to our open general submissions call.
Thank you to everyone who submitted and who read. And don’t forget, our last open submission window for 2021 closes on 8th December 2021! You can find out more here.
To see what we shared – or what you missed – in November, check out the links below. Enjoy!
Or, to be accurate when two submission calls close, another one opens…
Today is the last day to submit to either the Extended Editions submission call or to the open window for general submissions, so if you’re planning to submit, please get them sent in…The deadline is midnight, last place on the planet 😉

Thank you to everyone who submitted and who read. In the next day or two, we will be opening submissions to our next themed call, Extended Editions 2021 as well as to general submissions, before we turn our attention to our final themed call of the year, Winter 2021.
