If We Never | Liyona

If we never dream of

Our sweet union

Will it make the

Lack of the thing

More bearable than

The slight hope that

A life will find

And cherish us

All of our days?

Counting Memories | Liyona

How do we count all the moments of the day?

For cherries and apple pie kisses distract

me. But I want to remember all that you say

For every moment with you fills me.

Are we alone on this planet of dismay?

I counted all the sheep and still felt cold.

But I can’t forget every smile you display,

Butterfly and rose petal touches that impact

my soul, there they breathe and stay.

My Fairy | Liyona

Your breath hits my shoulder
I turn back to see
you fade into the shadows
hidden from me
For when will you visit,
my fairy, my sprite?
You changed me
made me
and then you fell
into the night.
