Autumn | Goutam Dutta

Spring and summer,

Youthful and full of cheer,

Had hitherto woven a tapestry of dreams.


Winter’s roughness,

Now it has made an appearance.

It’s harsh, sting laced winds,

Sucking me to dryness.


Soon it will be time

For me to wither,

Adding another shade to autumn’s colours.

Goutam is passionate about poetry and writes whenever and wherever something or someone touches his heart. His stories and poems have been published in various books and blogs.
