May Queen & Summer King | RedCat

The Summer King cometh
Bearing the Moon upon his horns
Tribute to his Goddess, she who birth’s the season reborn

The fair May Queen cometh
Meadow flowers in flaming hair
Flushed with summer passion, for her earthly consort to share

Together worshipping
Souls sharing true loves full delight
Breath mingling, power flow
Magic of Midsummer’s night glow

RedCat has contributed to The Poet’s Symphony (Raw Earth Ink, 2020), and Through The Looking Glass: Reflecting on Madness and Chaos Within (Indie Blu(e) Publishing, 2021).
