The Mere Thought of You | Michael Murdoch

Never shall I contradict
A word your soft lips speak
An oath on my finger pricked
flowers for my sweet
And sweetness for my flower
Until we next shall meet
May you find comfort
In the letters I send to you
As I find my own comfort
At the mere thought of you
